  • St. Faustina Kowalska (1905–1938), a humble Polish nun, is remembered as the messenger of Divine Mercy. Through her mystical encounters with Jesus Christ, she was entrusted with a mission: to spread devotion to His infinite mercy and love for all souls. From these revelations came the Divine Mercy image, the Chaplet of Divine Mercy, and the worldwide Divine Mercy devotion that continues to inspire millions.

St. Faustina passed away in 1938, just one year before the Nazi occupation of Poland. Despite the dark times that followed, her message of mercy had already begun to shine, offering hope and consolation to the world. Her canonization in April 2000 marked her as the first saint of the 21st century, affirming the timeless relevance of her mission.

Her feast day, celebrated on October 5, invites the faithful to trust in the words Jesus revealed to her: “Jesus, I trust in You.”

This devotional piece is a beautiful way to honor St. Faustina’s mission and to bring the powerful reminder of God’s mercy into your home and prayer life.
