St Michael Chaplet Crystal

  • The Chaplet of St. Michael offers a wonderful way to honour one of the great Archangels as he is depicted together with the Choir of Angels.

The history of this Chaplet originated from aspiritual experience of a devout servant of God, Antonia d'Astonac, who was a Carmelite-nun and had vision of St. Michael. The Archangel told her that he would like to be honored, in the glory of God. The request was approved by Pope Pius IX in 1851.

In the vision, St Michael promised his continual assistance by him and together with all holy angels, to those who recited the Chaplet daily, during life and after death as well as deliverance from purgatory for themselves and their relatives.

Who are the Choirs of Angels?

God has created various orders of Angels. Sacred Scripture distinguishes nine groups of angels - Seraphim, Cherubim, Thrones, Dominations, Powers, Virtues, Principalities, Archangels, and Angels (Isa. 6: 2; Gen. 3: 24; Col. 1: 16; Eph. 1: 21; Rom. 8: 38). There may be other groupings but these are the only ones that have been revealed to us. The Seraphim is believed to be the highest Choir, the most intimately united to God, while the Angelic Choir is the lowest.
